Soap Opera Fan Event and Romance novels

I'm seriously deciding if I want to go in June to what I thought was about romance novel conventions in Vegas. Now there are soap actors also going and being promoted as headlining the book signing. Don't get me wrong, I love soaps. I wouldn't be here with y'all if I didn't. But if you as fan are there to see a soap opera actor, are you honestly going to stop and talk to the authors of romance novels at that point? Will you beeline to the soap star and ignore the books or would you stop and speak to the romance authors? Or would this union of romance novels and soap stars be a perfect blend for a reader/soap watcher? I'm so torn if this is a good business decision.

(It's not Days of Our Lives at all because then the fan girl in me would be absolutely thrilled.)
