I know I am definitely in the minority on this one, but having EJ so angry with Nicole that he practically sees red does not bother me given how badly Nicole betrayed him over the last 11 months with her lies and schemes. I get that. What makes me go :X is when he stands on his soap box preaching how he is so much better than Steffy and how he is all his children. I have ZERO tolerance for hypocrisy. Angry EJ, ok, but Hypocrite EJ, no way. JMO |

Friendly Reminder That With A Twist is the spoiler FREE section of TDM so please no discussion of upcoming episodes  As EJ's outbursts, I still have images of EJ shaking Sami like a rag doll this summer at least Sami was able to give him a couple of good slaps, and SuperRafe knocked the lights out on him. I know EJ has always had a super short fuse, hell, he practically killed his father last week, and would have if it was for Kate, but EJ the hypocrite pretends that it was all him who stopped himself from killing Steffy cause he is a better man. EYEROLL EJ should have serious self loathing issues but instead he loves himself with all his heart :X |

ICAM, Lucy. We're together in that minority I guess.  Yes, it's so heartbreaking to watch him behave so harshly towards Nicole. But I'm still watching and waiting to see how things play out. I'm starting to believe some of the theories out there that EJ is up to something. Whether or not that's good for EJole I don't know but I'm at least curious. The hypocrisy I agree is just sickening though.

I remember that the EJamis said that the "opposite of love is indifference" when it came to EJ being angry at Sami...and that is how they explained why he was so mad at her. So if that is the truth, then EJ must love the hell out of Nicole! LOL! In fact, I kind of get the impression that EJ is acting indifferently towards Sami right now with her Rafe cuddling and relationship with him. Yet he is full on angry mad with Nicole for doing what? Bringing him his kid? Raising his daughter? Accepting him for who he was? Loving him? I don't understand the motive behind what EJ is doing other than that he is so hurt by Nicole's lies. He still refers to her as his wife, and while I am not sure how their relationship will work out from now on, I almost kind of look forward to a really tension filled divorce because when Nicole is at her lowest, she doesn't take shit from anyone, including EJ. Now that I think of it, Sami is kind of indifferent to EJ too when it comes to his wife. I love it! |

Aliigato, I too have noticed how EJ keeps calling Nicole "my wife" even on the plane today he was not happy with Brady trying to coach him on how to handle his "wife". It seemed like Rafe & Sami just had to hear nonstop EJady bickering over Nicole....lol... Nicole really ripped EJ's heart out and its going to take a long time for EJ to not feel so raw from the pain, but even now, when he is so livid with Nicole for all the things she has done, he still calls her, his wife, and not made any attempt or mention of wanting to end their marriage. |

I don't mind his anger either, I just wish he would learn to keep it under control more, instead of threatening and putting his hands on Nicole. What she did was wrong, but he doesn't need to let his horrible temper take over. But I guess if he didn't love and trust Nicole he wouldn't be so angry about all her lies. I also like how he is still very jealous of Brady because Nicole confided in him about her miscarriage. He seems to be getting into it with Brady all the time. You don't see him picking fights with Rafe over Sami. |

ITA. The writers should tone down EJ's roughness with women because of his past, esecially. I don't think he has gone too far yet though and I too understand his actions to be those of a shattered, broken man. His life ended the day he found out the truth and he's furious with Nicole for taking that away from him. |

Hey, everyone. I agree!...but for different reasons. :harp: I guess Alligato and I are on the same page here... I personally think the greater the anger, the greater the crazy, the greater the overwhelmingly pissy and odious EJ, the better. Why? Because it's substantial proof of how much he loves Nicole. Like it or not, EJ's character is such that he treats the ones he loves with the greatest love OR the greatest hate. That's just his M.O. So, the greater he goes off the deep end towards her, the more I see it as proof of his great love for her. And it doesn't hurt in making Nicole even more sympathetic and more of a rooting character. Which I never, never mind. So, have at it, EJ! Go off a cliff as far as I'm concerned. Get all beyond-angry. I don't mind. I'm looking forward to when the crazy (and I'm talking about Nicole's crazy as well as EJ's) has all dissipated and they're left with just the hurt...and the love!!! Awwwwwww Man, EJole really pull at my heartstrings today with Nicole trying to convince EJ that she was not lying, and EJ only knowing that Nicole has been lying to him day in and day out for last year being torn between his love for her and his mistrust of her. And when he held her face and asked her to look at him, he seemed like he wanted to believe her as she cried swearing she did not know where Sydney is, but at the same time, he did not know if she was lying to him once again. sniff. Poor EJole! They are both so incredibly crazy, but together, they fit. |
