Will Sami Ever Bond With Syd?

Titleless Posts: 8,907 Group: Admins Member #96 Joined: 07/11/08	Sami found out that Syd was hers all the way back in November, and did not even spend five minutes alone with Syd before Nicole's kidnapping her, and later EJ's double kidnapping Syd. Now its almost the end of January, Syd is still not bonding with Sami. Hell, Syd is even bonding with her Auntie Anna. I am starting to wonder if Sami & Syd will ever bond. Am I the only one to wonder that? What do you guys think?

(Ok, that was just a huge fastball waiting to be hit!)LOL I miss SYDOLE. They had the cutest moments-how she grouchy. She misses Nicole. I miss Nicole and thats why I think they are prolonging this part of the baby switch. Nicole will be the one to rescue Syd (or give superRafe/Brady the clues.) TEAM SYDOLE!

So far, she's bonded with Nicole, Anna, and EJ, and I am hoping THAT'S intentional. Sami bonding with her kids is a whole other issue. However, now that's she Sarlena I am waiting for her to make cupcakes and decide to home school her children.

I agree I hope its intentional. I was worried about Sami celebrating Syd's first xmas with Rafe in their glitter palace while Nicole cried herself to sleep so relieved that did not happen.

Am I the only one to wonder that? What do you guys think? I'm not wondering. I'm just hoping that the trend continues! Even if Sydney stays Sami's I don't expect to see too much bonding. I think there will be a few moments and then she will be banished to the sitters with the twins only to slip into kindergarten to be SORASED before a confrontation sends her running into the arms of a distant relative living in another country on another hemisphere.

Titleless Posts: 8,907 Group: Admins Member #96 Joined: 07/11/08	I have been pleasantly surprised that even after Sami was declared to all as Syd's mama, Nicole was still bonding with Syd on the run while St. Sami of Glitter had a massive hissy fit. The same day Sami found out Syd was hers, she lost her not even one 3am feeding for St. Sami to marvel over. At least, Nicole took Syd cause she could not stand to leave Sydney with a screeching and screaming EShami who were too busy fighting over property rights on Syd to realize that they should keep their voices down for Syd's sake. Nicole is really going out as the underdog to root for.

Sami continues to be portrayed as a flighty mother (I am being generous here) while Nicole truly loves that baby and puts her before all else. This reminds me of the AMC/OLTL babyswitch where the only one who put the Chandler/Carey baby first had no legitimate claim on him. When the two "real parents" went before the court the judge told them he wishes he could take the child away from both of them and put the child in foster care - he'd be better off.
