Okay, so I don't know if it's been confirmed on our board or not, I know there's been speculation but it has been confirmed that Dr. Baker will be returning for may sweeps. Perhaps he'll come bearing gifts?  ;-)

Yes, it has been confirmed by SOD that Dr. Baker is returning, which is great because I love him! According to the link below, Nicole may not necessarily be the person he crosses paths with, which makes me think Stefano and/or Rafe are the people he deals with, at least at first. Looks like he'll first be airing April 22. http://soapoperadigest.com/news/breaking/ Can't wait to see him! And if he hooks up with Vivian at some point . . . so much the better!

im soooooooo hoping its true!(@least thats what ive read too!)and i am praying that he has news 4 nicole that syd IS her daughter!so NICOLE NOT SAMI would be #1,4 1ce and get HER way! what a delicious thing it would be!to have saint sami FINALLY get *her* daughter back and have her really be nicoles miracle baby!i knew she was! that would be the ONLY reason to bring him back i can think of!!..that creep DOES NOT have anything else on nicole!go sydole!keep that poor girl AWAY from saint sami!lol!:) |

I'm really excited about his return. I have a feeling he will be wanting to get back at Stefano for trying to have him killed. Anyways it will be interesting to see everyones reaction when he returns to Salem. I just hope he has news of the possible Ejole baby and maybe it's Sydney. |

Yep, doc Baker is BACK! I think this is the beginning to finding out that baby EJole is ALIVE! I would forever be grateful to the soap gods if DAYS makes this possible! Nicole deserves Syd to be the EJole baby! She's the one that truly cared for her and loved her unconditionally! |

Interesting, so was it pure speculation on Daytime Confidential's site that Baker would be back to cause trouble for Nicole? Not that that can't happen down the line, but we do have good proof now that he is mixing it up with someone else. My guess is Stefano. We never did find out when and how Steffie dear found out about Nicole's dastardly deeds. Syd's being Nicole would be nice, but I ain't banking on it. It would just require a whole lot of machinations to get us to that point. Although I admit to being more able to swallow it because it involves my girl Nicole. I don't know if I want her tied to EJ in that way after what he has been up to. I think the next pairing I want him in is the one OBK suggested on the DR - EJox 2010. It would be poetic justice though if Nicole did have a baby out there that someone had denied her to for the first year of her life. More effective than any prison sentence if you ask me. |

Well, maybe he has something to do with Rafe and his investigation? I mean he was the one that declared doc Baker "DEAD?" Maybe he gets a tip that he's alive and goes to find him? Maybe Steffy told him that he had to "stay dead," but ol' tricky Dick got tired of that life and decided to take a risk since he knows Nicole's in jail? Good point. May sweeps start April 29 which is a week after Dr. Baker's return. I too think he's going to be crossing paths with Stefano and/or Rafe. Even if there's no more left to reveal about the baby switch I could see Dr. Baker wanting some revenge on Steffy for trying to have him killed--though, how did Dr. Baker manage to stay alive? Was the alleged murder a simple setup so that Rafe would stop investigating? I'm trying to remember how all that came about. Maybe, as suggested, Stefano did pay off Baker to pretend to be dead, though at the same time Stefano was balking at paying Baker any more, that's why he wanted to kill him, right? Easier just to knock him off? Whatever. I'd just like to know how Stefano knew about the whole switch. If Dr. Baker returning explains that I'd be happy. It always annoys me when a huge, major plot point happens with no explanation other than, "I'm Stefano, just because." |

haha paxton that's too funny, reminds me of that movie because I said so...I could actually see Stephy using that one liner all the time Commisioner of the idiot department: "why don't you come downtown for some hot served hypocricy?" Stephano: "because I said so" Ejackle: " your dead to me, you are dead to me, did I mention your DEAD to me? by the by, why should that stop me from grunging up all your assets?" Stephano: "because I said so!" lol |
